Can I use this where I am located?
The Drug Terminator falls into the category of Cyclonic Barrel Burner covered by EPA Regulation 40 CFR Part 60 (Standards of Performance) exempted under section 60.2555. Always contact your regulatory authority before use.
“(p) Units that combust contraband or prohibited goods. Your incineration unit is excluded if the unit is owned or operated by a government agency such as police, customs, agricultural inspection, or a similar agency to destroy only illegal or prohibited goods such as illegal drugs, or agricultural food products that can not be transported into the country or across State lines to prevent bio contamination. The exclusion does not apply to items either confiscated or incinerated by private, industrial, or commercial entities.”
What can I burn in the unit?

How much does it burn?
The Drug Terminator is rated at 50lbs/hr but has been known to burn up to 300lbs/hr depending on the type of material being destroyed.
Is there any smoke?
The Drug Terminator releases some smoke when first started but this is only wood or charcoal smoke and therefore harmless. Once it reaches temperature, there should be no smoke or smell released by the unit to affect the operators or bystanders.
Is any PPE required?
Heat resistant gloves and safety glasses are recommended, plus any other PPE as deemed necessary.
How long will the steel drum last?
This depends on the frequency and duration of the burns. The steel barrel will eventually rust and burn through at which point it will need to be replaced. Stainless steel drums will have a considerably longer lifespan.

25 to 30 minutes

This depends on the number and duration of burns, the costs will be:

b) Electricity for 45 minutes approx. allowing cooling time (per burn )
c) Servicing of filters
d) Any other parts such as the blower or drum as necessary
What components need servicing or replacing over time?

The Drug Terminator has a self-closing, heavy stainless steel flap which allows the Easy-Feed cartridge to inject materials into the barrel whilst burning.

The unit is very straight forward. Simple maintenance can be conducted by the end user. Air filters should be cleaned before each use, and oiling the barrel clamps.
Is the unit shipped with the drum?
The drum is an optional items, we can ship the unit for assembly on site or completely assembled with the drum ready to use.
